NYSSCA WELCOMES ACCORD SPEEDWAY

June 1, 2006 - The New York State Stock Car Association is proud to welcome Accord Speedway as a member track. Brett Deyo will be leading the charge in recruiting members for the organization. The primary function of NYSSCA is to provide an Injured Member Benefit Fund. Members are eligible for the Fund, which helps to supplement their income while they are unable to work as a result of a racing incident at a sanctioned race track. While racers anywhere can join the Association, other member tracks are Afton Speedway, Albany Saratoga Speedway, Devil's Bowl Speedway, Fonda Speedway, Glen Ridge Motorsports Park, Lebanon Valley Speedway and Utica Rome Speedway. NYSSCA maintains a Hall of Fame listing over 100 greats in the local racing world. The Hall of Fame is housed at the Saratoga Auto Museum in the Saratoga Spa State Park.
