ALBANY-SARATOGA HOSTS NYSSCA ON JULY 14th
On Friday July 14th, Albany Saratoga Speedway hosted it's annual NYSSCA Safety Award Night. Ronnie Johnson ran away with the Modified feature, as did Joe Budka in the Sportsman. Kim Duell had to wrestle his way to the win in an action-packed Pro Stock event.

Originally, the Limited winner, Kevin VanChance was awarded the NYSSCA contingency bonus. but he was disqualified in post-race inspection. Tom Conroy will be given the bonus after finishing 5th originally, before the tech process moved him to 3rd. Conroy was the first NYSSCA member in the official finishing order.

Pete Willis finished second in the six-cylinder mini stocks, but was the first member, pocketing the extra $50. Ken Hollenbeck was the four-cylinder mini stock winner and first NYSSCA member.

The Wild Card winner, drawn by Kim Duell, was Sportsman driver Adam Tranka.
