ODY RACING RAISES $7000 FOR TELETHON

Christine Krosky approached the NYSSCA board for permission to pass the helmet at our banquet as their team was raising funds for the Center For Disability Services. We agreed and $500 was raised at the banquet. $500 was collected at the banquet, but when Christing presented the money, it was during the period when Price Chopper was doubling any pledges, making the donation from NYSSCA members $1,000. Danny Ody also offered a free spot on his IMCA car to anyone who pledged over $1000 at the telethon. He received 6 takers on the offer. Congrats to this team on their generosity and raising $7,000 for this worthwhile organization.
