A GREAT DAY OF GOLF

Fourteen teams turned out on May 8th at the Fairways of Halfmoon for a good time benefitting a better cause. Top honors went to one of the Flach Racing teams. The foursome of John "Apples" Albanese, Jim Nichols, Andrew Perkins and Dan Pilat. Finishing in second place was the Tornabene's GMC team of Matt Ratelle, Jeramie Babson, Floyd Amidon and Brad Krause. Joe Tornabene's GMC sponsored the "Hole in One" prize of a new GMC pickup, which unfortunately wasn't won. WXXA, represented by our friends from Fox 23 Fast Track Rich Becker and Scott Morlock, along with drawing winners Jim Becker and Don Shire finished third. Fourth place went to Ed Biittig, Jr., Ken Lacasse, Don and Kim Scheuer. Rounding out the top 5 was one of the Camara Racing teams, consisting of Heavy Kevy, Slim, Wattsie and Roy Boy. The putting contest, and a cool $50 was won by John "Apples" Albanese. Lots of prizes were handed out and a very profitable 50/50 was collected. Frank Harper took home the winner's share of the cash. Brad Krause won the 2 NASCAR tickets to the Richmond race in September. Thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers who helped make this event a success.
