INJURED MEMBER BENEFIT FUND REQUIREMENTS
|
The Injured Member Benefit Fund will provide a payment of $125.00 each week for up to four weeks, payable in two week increments, after which a new letter will be required by your doctor and reviewed by the Benefit Fund Committee. Payment will not exceed twenty six weeks in total.
The Benefit Fund is comprised solely of membership dues, donations, and proceeds from fundraisers.
Claims must be filed within 15 days of onset of injury as per physician's notice or as deemed appropriate by the NYSSCA Board.
Claims must be accompanied by notice from treating physician stating the nature of the injury, the date and location of the accident, that the member is unable to work and when they can return.
A return to racing at any track signifies an end to the benefit claim period.
Any questions should be brought to the attention to one of the NYSSCA Officers or members of the Board of Directors. |
