UTICA-ROME AND LEBANON VALLEY NYSSCA SAFETY AWARD WINNERS

CLIFTON PARK, NY - With the final two Safety Award nights this weekend, the New York State Stock Car Association is happy to announce the winners of an extra $50 for being the highest finishing member in their feature events at Lebanon Valley Speedway and Utica Rome Speedway.

At Lebanon Valley on Saturday, prizes went to Brett Hearn, Modified; K.C. Goewey, Sportsman; Paul LaRochelle, Pro Stock; Jay Corbin, Rookie Pro Stock; Steve Hatch, Ron Jacobsen, Peter Wiegand, Keith Barlow, and Jeremy Pease, Pure Stocks.  K.C. Goewey won the wild card.

At Utica Rome Speedway on Sunday, Jack Johnson was the Modified feature winner and the NYSSCA Safety Award Winner.  Tim Mayne was the Sportsman winner and Joe Palmer won the Pro Stock event.  The Pure Stock event was won by Jim Thomas and Joel Thomas won the wild card.
