                       NYSSCA GOLF TOURNAMENT A HUGE SUCCESS

Eighteen teams of golfers were greated by a day of awesome weather and great golf on Thursday, May 15th.

The 1st Annual NYSSCA Golf Tournament was held as a fundraiser to build up the Benefit Fund and support other programs of the New York State Stock Car Assn.
Driving their way to first place was one of the Madsen Teams, comprised of Brian & Mike Madsen, John Coonradt and Wes.  One of the Camara Racing teams finished second with Sean Camara at the helm.  The thrid place team of Pete Chuckta, Frank Harper, Kevin Wright and Scott Jeffries.  Gary Emerick's  team finished fourth overall with Gary taking home prizes for Closest 2nd Shot to the Pin, Longest Drive, and Closest 1st Shot to the pin. 

Mike Simmons won the cash for the putting contest over leader Rich Becker from Fox 23 Fast Track. 

Unfortunately, all of the "Hole in One" prizes sponsored by Team Goewey Dodge were not won and were returned.

Thanks to the many business who helped fund this event by sponsoring holes or tees or donating raffle prizes.  The winner's share of the 50/50 was $372 and was won by Pete Chuckta.
